The assets are funded entirely by liabilities, and the business is said to be highly leveraged.
Financial ratio
If the debt ratio is 0, the liabilities are also equal to 0. None of the assets are funded by liabilities and must therefore all be funded by equity.

It varies from industry to industry, but generally the ratio should be at least equal to 1, and nearer 2 to allow a margin of safety.
